Dogs that don’t look at me is a serie of paintings where the artist focused her attention on those times when purebred dogs did not dignify her with attention; what emerges is an unspoken declaration of a feeling of diversity in the face of precise selections that make these animals belonging to an elite, or at least a specific tribe. The artist paints in muted hues these dogs whose gaze she would like a glimpse of, or simply portraying something that, fortunately, does not command her attention.
