Terms and Conditions for Service Buyers on InCaseOf

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the InCaseOf platform to purchase consulting services, the user fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Description of the Service
InCaseOf is a platform that allows users to book hourly consulting sessions with professionals in various creative fields. Users can browse consultant profiles, check availability, and book sessions accordingly.
3. Registration and User Account
To book a session, users must register on the platform with accurate and up-to-date information. The user is responsible for the security of their login credentials and agrees not to share them with third parties.
4. Bookings and Payments
- Bookings are made directly through the platform.
- Payments are processed exclusively by credit card at the time of booking.
- The price displayed is the final amount to be paid by the user, with no additional fees.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Users may cancel a booking at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund.
- No refunds are given for late cancellations or no-shows.
- If the consultant cancels the session or does not show up, the user is entitled to a full refund or to reschedule the session, at their discretion.
6. Liability
- InCaseOf is not responsible for the quality or content of the consulting sessions provided by professionals.
- Any disputes between users and consultants must be resolved directly between the parties involved.
7. Data Protection (GDPR)
- Personal data provided by users is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Data is used exclusively for purposes related to the use of the platform’s services.
- Users have the right to access, update, or delete their personal data at any time.
8. Code of Conduct
Users agree to:
- Maintain respectful and professional behavior in all interactions with consultants
- Refrain from using the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Avoid sending offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
In the event of a violation of this code of conduct, InCaseOf reserves the right to suspend or terminate the user’s account without notice.
9. Changes to the Terms
InCaseOf reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated by email and will take immediate effect upon publication.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of InCaseOf’s registered office.
Terms and Conditions for Experts on InCaseOf

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a consultant on InCaseOf and offering your services through the platform, you fully agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description
InCaseOf is a platform that allows consultants to offer hourly consulting sessions to private clients or businesses. Each consultant may define their own availability, session rates, and areas of expertise.
3. Consultant Requirements
To offer services on InCaseOf, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess the skills and expertise stated in your profile
- Comply with the tax and legal regulations of your country
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward clients
4. Payments and Commissions
- Payments are processed via bank transfer.
- InCaseOf retains a commission of 15% on the total amount of each individual session.
- Payouts will be made on the last day of the month in which the sessions took place.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Consultants must honor all scheduled appointments. If unable to attend, the client must be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
- In the case of a no-show or unjustified delay, InCaseOf reserves the right to issue a refund to the client and temporarily suspend the consultant’s account.
- If the client fails to attend a booked session, the consultant will still receive full payment for the consultation.
6. Liability
- Each consultant is solely responsible for the content and quality of their consultations.
- InCaseOf is not liable for any damages arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by consultants.
7. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
Consultants agree to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Clients’ personal data may only be used for purposes directly related to the requested consultation.
- Collecting, storing, or using clients’ data for promotional or external purposes is strictly prohibited unless explicit written consent is obtained.
- InCaseOf is committed to protecting all personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
8. Code of Conduct
Consultants are required to:
- Maintain a respectful and inclusive attitude
- Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language
- Be punctual and professional in every session
- Provide consultations based on their actual expertise
In the event of user reports or behaviors that violate basic standards of decency and respect, InCaseOf reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete the consultant’s account, with or without prior notice.
9. Changes to Terms
InCaseOf reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and will take effect 2 days after publication.
10. Account Termination
Consultants may request account termination at any time. InCaseOf reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found in violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Italian law, unless otherwise specified based on your geographical location.
